名護屋城址

今から400年前に豊臣秀吉が朝鮮侵略の為に築城した。城郭の規模は当時大坂城に次ぐ大きさであった。ここから約３０万の兵が朝鮮に派兵された。

Around 400 years ago, Hideyoshi Toyotomi, who unified Japan in the Sengoku (Warring States) period, had this castle built to prepare for an invasion of Korea. At that time, it had the largest castle grounds after Osaka Castle. About 300,000 soldiers were sent to Korea from here.
